Privacy Policy

Graciel ("Graciel: Bible Verse Widget") is published by INDIGATE LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains what the app uses, what stays on your iPhone, and the little that leaves it.
In short
- There is no account, no advertising and no tracking across apps or websites.
- Your prayer intentions, saved verses, streak and settings stay on your iPhone. We cannot read them.
- Bible texts and devotions are built into the app. Reading them sends nothing to us.
- Only subscription and purchase information is processed outside your device, by Apple and by our subscription provider, Adapty.
What Graciel uses on your iPhone
- Notifications, only if you allow them: the daily verse reminder, the reminders you set for prayer intentions, and a reminder the day before a free trial ends. They are scheduled on your device; no notification server is involved.
- Widgets. The app shares the upcoming verses, your translation, your paper and whether Premium is active with its own widget, through storage reserved to Graciel on your device.
- Sharing. When you share a verse, Graciel creates an image and hands it to the iOS share sheet. Where it goes is your choice.
Graciel does not access your photos, contacts, location, camera or microphone.
What stays on your device
Your prayer intentions, saved verses, streak, reading and reminder settings, and whether you have completed onboarding are stored locally. Some preferences are kept in the iOS Keychain, which may retain them after you delete the app.
What leaves your device
Subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple. We never see your payment details. To deliver and verify your subscription, the app uses Adapty (Adapty Tech Inc.), which processes on our behalf:
- a random identifier created for this installation of the app;
- your device model, iOS version, app version, language and App Store country;
- your IP address, used to approximate your country;
- your purchases, trials, renewals, cancellations and refunds;
- whether a paywall was shown, to measure which offers work.
We use this information only to provide Premium features, prevent fraud and improve our offers. We do not sell or share it for advertising. Your prayer intentions and anything about your faith are never sent.
Legal bases (EEA and UK)
Processing linked to your subscription is necessary to perform our contract with you. Offer measurement relies on our legitimate interest in running the app sustainably. Notifications rely on your consent, which you can withdraw in iOS Settings at any time.
Retention
Subscription records are kept for as long as you use the app and then for the period required by tax and accounting rules. On-device data is removed when you delete the app, except Keychain items as described above.
International transfers
Adapty may process data in the United States and other countries, with safeguards such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct, delete or port your data, object to or restrict its processing, and complain to your data protection authority. California residents have the right to know, delete and correct their information; we do not sell or share personal information. Write to contact@graciel.app. Because Graciel has no accounts, we may ask for a purchase receipt to find your records.
Children
Graciel is not directed to children under 13, or under 16 in the European Economic Area, and we do not knowingly process their data.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date above. Significant changes will be announced in the app.
